Mission Possible! Market Performance Group Attends Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council to Share Omnicommerce Experience

Mission Possible! That was the theme for this year’s recent Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC) Gateway Conference, designed to provide close to 200 minority business owners and entrepreneurs with the tools and connections needed for a strong path to success. MPG and SRMSDC collaborated and several of our strategy and commercialization leaders shared brand-building and omnicommerce on topics that included:  Key Factors to Create Enduring Consumer Brands, Building Your Digital Shelf: Content & Launch Strategies and Building Your Selling Story with Data & Analytics and Channel Considerations – When You’re Ready to Expand Distribution. Equally important, though, was the opportunity for our MPG leaders to learn from conference speakers and participants.

The Diverse perspectives and insights are absolutely critical to deliver on customer needs and succeed in today’s marketplace. This is the foundation of our business culture, and we are grateful for the opportunity to both share our best practices for better business outcomes and learn from the SRMSDC members,” says MPG President Jason Reiser. “These experiences are invaluable to us as we continue to evolve in our efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion -- throughout our industry, and within our own workplace, to best serve our employees, our clients, and ultimately, today’s consumer.”

He adds, “For MPG, it is critical to continue to cultivate a strong DEI&B culture, with an employee and supplier base mirroring society. It’s the path to authentic consumer connections, effective strategies, exceptional business results, and economic impact. To that end, we continue our focus on fostering an inclusive environment for employees and expanding our capabilities with an increasingly diverse talent pool. And we remain unwavering in our commitment to help develop historically underutilized diverse suppliers in omnichannel retail. We will continue to prioritize this area and provide expert resources and support for associations like SRMSDC and the ECRM Supplier Diversity Partnership, among others, and retailer programs like Walmart Start.”
