EVP, Walmart | Club Sales Strategy & Solutions Teams Lead
Todd has broad experience in retail and a deep understanding of the Club channel, having spent more than 20 years working with the world’s largest retailer, on both the Walmart and Sam’s Club businesses, strategizing and developing initiatives, teams, and relationships to drive sales. Todd has expertise in merchandising strategy, purchasing/buying, pricing, private label, operations, team development, and supplier relationship management.
At Sam’s Club, Todd held a number of executive positions, including SVP, GMM Grocery, Beverages, Snacks, and Tobacco and SVP, GMM Merchandise Solutions (responsible for pricing, private brand, quality, packaging, roadshow, demos and the regional buying team). Prior to this, Todd had responsibility for Health & Wellness at Sam’s Club, serving as VP, DMM Health and Wellness, responsible for OTC, HBA, Baby, Optical, and Hearing Center merchandising categories and the Business Development Team for Health & Wellness; and prior to that as Merchandise Director OTC, Health, and Beauty Care.
Todd began his career as an intern at Walmart, taking on roles of increasing responsibility – from Merchandise Planning to Senior Buyer. As buyer/senior buyer, he was responsible for numerous categories, including skin care, bath, sun care, cough/cold, allergy, analgesics, bath, baby, apparel, and cosmetics.
