Jeff is a former Vice President of Merchandise Planning Operations and Supply Chain at Target Corporation. Over his 20+ year career at Target, he has held multiple roles in Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, and Supply Chain.
The first half of Jeff’s career was focused on core roles in Merchandising and Merchandise Planning, where he developed multiple assortment, product, and brand strategies to deliver financial goals in areas including Sporting Goods, Luggage, Electronics, Household Commodities, Pharmacy, and Decorative Home. The second half of Jeff’s career was spent driving integrated strategies between Merchandising and the Supply Chain to drives sales while reducing operational expense. Jeff led an operational team of specialists who supported multiple enterprise strategic initiatives, such as the transformation to an omnichannel supply chain, the opening of new stores, developing new planning capabilities, and ultimately supporting all aspects of inventory management for Target.
In addition, Jeff had been a key leader in driving the development of innovative new capabilities to create an integrated omnichannel experience for Target's customers. Specific examples include coordinating the development of fulfillment capabilities such as buy online, pick up in store, ship from store, and integrating physical store and online inventory. Jeff also has experience building global organizations, as he led the development of a 200+ person Merchandising, Merchandise Planning and Supply Chain organization at Target’s Bangalore India office.
