EVP, Drug Channel | Grocery | Specialty Sales Strategy & Solutions Teams Lead
Jason is an experienced sales professional with more than 15 years’ cross-functional/multi market operational experience and proven success in achieving volume and KPI objectives through successful sell-in and execution of sales controllables. He possesses a deep understanding of the retailer landscape and how to drive stakeholder engagement and profitable growth for clients. He is proficient in P&L management, contract negotiation, and analytics.
Jason joined MPG in early 2019 from Acosta Sales & Marketing Company where he served most recently as Senior VP Client Development. In this role Jason collaborated with clients to develop headquarters and retail annual plans, directed a team of 6 VPs of client development, and led semi-annual and annual reviews and developed proactive strategic action plans to grow sales and market share while exceeding client budgets and KPI objectives.
Jason also directly managed the relationships with a number of key Acosta clients, consistently exceeding share targets in all major categories; developing the retail strategy to deliver 10-day speed to shelf objectives for a client on RX to OTC switch, with 85% ACV achievement; and the successful onboarding for client acquisitions. He also led the Acosta Independent Pharmacy Team comprised of 4 business managers for the key drug wholesalers and 40 retail representatives.
Prior positions at Acosta included VP Client Development, working with key clients to develop and enhance actionable brand strategies and ensure achievement of overall business objectives; Director HBC/GM New England & Upstate NY; and Business Manager for Northern CA and New England Markets for Clorox, Kellogg’s, Birdseye, Colgate, and Beiersdorf.
